India’s pellet export shipments observed a significant drop with just 1.17 mn t recorded in Aug’20 as compared to 1.66 mn t in the previous month, as per SteelMint statistics. High domestic realizations and tight supply resulted in lower export volumes. China continued to remain the largest pellet importer with 942,288 t. Rashmi Metaliks remained largest exporter followed by BRPL in Aug’20.
