SAIL conducted an auction for around 4,000 t prime steel grade pig iron today from its Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) Chhattisgarh. Entire material put in the auction was booked at INR 27,750-27,900/t exw. The last auction conducted on 21 Aug’20 for 4,000/t received bid at 26,000-28,150/t exw but company’s management rejected all the lots.
