Steel Authority of India (SAIL) today conducted an auction for the sale of 28,000 t iron ore fines (Fe 62%) from its Dalli mines, in Chhattisgarh. The auction received an overwhelming response with the entire quantity being booked at INR 3,900/t including royalty (loaded into rakes). The base price was set at INR 3,100/t.
