Indian GE producers hike HP grade prices on absence of Chinese material

HP grade GE prices in India are currently assessed at INR 140,000 – 150,000/t ($1,910-2,050/t), up by INR 20,000/t ($273/t) for Sep’20. Absence of Chinese offers in the Indian market has given Indian manufacturers the opportunity to raise prices. However, UHP grade electrode prices continue to remain unchanged at INR 280,000/t ($3,825/t).
