Hoa Phat’s finished steel production registered 65% y-o-y growth in Aug’20. The company sold nearly 500,000 t of steel products in Aug, of which finished steel was 320,000 t and semi-finished was 170,000 t. Export of finished steel products grew three-fold to 54,000 t. Besides finished steel, Hoa Phat signed a contract to sell 1.5 mn t of billet to domestic and foreign markets with delivery until Nov’20.
