South African ferro chrome exports dips by 19% m-o-m in Jul’20

According to Customs data, total exports of ferro chrome from South Africa in July was recorded at 217,900t, down 50,000t m-o-m and down 8.1% y-o-y. Out of which, 79,800t was exported to China accounting for around 37% of total exports. In July, the South African share in Chinese ferro chrome imports came down by 7% m-o-m due to supply constraints.
