Today, billet prices in the Tangshan market (northeast China) increased by RMB 10, against yesterday. The billet transactions were weak today, while the finished steel market had mixed sentiments. The prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter were reported at RMB 3,460/t ($503/t) in Tangshan, inclusive of 13 % VAT.
