Melting scrap prices have inched up by INR 100/t to INR 22,900/t DAP Chennai market as per daily SteelMint assessment. Current scrap price is at INR 22,800-23,100/t with 93% (+/-1%) recovery. Market participants shared that few deals were concluded higher by INR 200-300/t than market range with ease in credit days or regular payment terms.
