Northern India’s Structure prices slightly up on account of increased Ingot/Billet prices. While, Central market unchanged as demand is firm.
Structure prices in Northern India registered slight improvement of INR 100/MT on account of increased ingot/Billet prices. Ingot & Billet prices moved up by INR 100-300/MT. Market participants based at Ghaziabad & Mandi Gobindgarh said, “Structural demand is constant these days, but prices are continuously fluctuating. That might distract buyers and affect on demand in coming days.”
Channel 200 mm offered at INR 37,400/MT in Mandi Gobindgarh and Beam 150 mm offered at INR 36,100/MT in Ghaziabad.
On the other side in Central India, Structure prices remain unchanged. Topworth Steels has offered Beam 200 mm at INR 33,700/MT. Sarthak Ispat also hold their offers same for today after reducing prices by INR 200/MT on Monday. They offered Beam 300 mm at INR 33,700/MT.
Ahmedabad’s Structure manufacturers reduced offers by INR 200/MT from previous trade owing to price fall in Scrap. Scrap prices in Alang fell by INR 700-900/MT in a week’s time.
