Iron ore production in Odisha (including captive) stood at 6.52 mnt in Jul ’20, an increase of 34% m-o-m as compared with 4.86 mn t in the previous month, the data from the government of Odisha indicates. With JSW Steel and AM/NS India starting production from captive mines won in auction, the state’s output moved up. JSW Steel produced around 1 mn t iron ore from Odisha.
