Turkey imported scrap prices rebound as mills return for deep sea bookings

After remaining absent from deep-sea scrap market for about a couple of weeks, Turkish steel mills have actively resumed scrap bookings. SteelMint learnt from its sources that three bulk deals have been concluded recently from different origins – US, Baltic etc. After these deals, price of US origin HMS (80:20) has increased by around $5 w-o-w to $288/t, CFR Turkey.
