Sponge iron demand rebounded in Raipur with over 6,000 t fresh deals reported at INR 18,600-19,100/t exw for P-DRI, SteelMint confirmed with officials. Offers have been revised by few plants and are reported to be at INR 19,200/t exw. Demand recovered on account of increase in local billet price by INR 300/t, d-o-d, along with expected regain in sponge prices.
