Steel Authority of India Ltd. – a government of India Company had scheduled floated an auction for around 1,700t of steel grade pig iron today from its Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP),Odisha. According to sources report to SteelMint, entire quantity was booked at INR 28,200-28,800/t exw. Domestic pig iron prices have come under pressure on declining billet offers in last one week.
