Deals of about 2,000 t billets have been concluded by Raipur (central India) based mills to Jalna (western India), at an average price of INR 28,800/t exw & freight cost via road delivery is reported at INR 1,300-1,350/t. SteelMint learnt from sources that improved demand due to limited availability of local billets in Jalna and competitive offers, resulted in conclusion of these deals.
