Domestic melting scrap prices may observe slight corrections in western region (Gujarat & Maharashtra) owing to low finished steel bookings. Specifically Jalna scrap prices reported third consecutive fall by INR 300/t and current trade reference price for HMS (80:20) stands at INR 22,900/t FoR, as per SteelMint’s daily assessment.
