Major medium scale rolling mills based in Jalna and Wada (western India) have decreased their rebar (10-25 mm) offer by INR 500/t to INR 33,800-34,000/t exw, as per SteelMint assessment. Limited future bookings as well as inadequate lifting amid monsoon season have hampered finished steel demand across the region which led to price reduction.
