SAIL conducted an auction for around 2,850 t (one rake) off-grade pig iron today from its Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) Jharkhand. The auction received good participation as entire material got booked at INR 28,850/t exw, SteelMint learned from sources. The last auction conducted on 29 Jul’20 for 5,700 t similar grade pig iron was concluded at INR 25,900/t exw.
