Soma Mondal, Director (Commercial), SAIL, has been selected by the Public Services Selection Board as the next Chairman of the company. Mondal is set to succeed Anil Chaudhury for the top job subject to approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet. Mondal is credited with designing marketing strategies and the launch of various new products by SAIL. She assumed charge as Director (Commercial) in 2017.
