India: SAIL records strong exports growth in July’20

SAIL has reported total sales of 1.583 mn t in July’20 – an impressive growth of 50% over July’19 when sales were recorded at 1.059 mn t. While domestic purchases from the PSU steel major stood at 1.273 mn t, it shipped out 0.31 mn t during the month — 349 pc growth on year. More impressive was the exports figure in Jun’20 that touched a record 0.34 mn t.
