Raigarh (central India) based private mill reported deals for around 1,000 t steel-grade pig iron in the local market. Fresh offers for limited quantities are reported at around INR 27,200/t ex-plant. Pig iron prices of private mills in other parts of India have also increased by INR 500-800/t d-o-d, due to supply shortage and rising billet prices.
