NMDC’s iron ore rake movement from its Chhattisgarh mines to state-based steel units has dropped by 19% to 42 rakes in Jul’20 (0.16 mn t) as against being 52 rakes a month ago (0.20 mn t), as per railway movement data maintained with SteelMint. The miner has increased the prices by 8-9% w.e.f 31st July’20. NMDC has supplied a total of 272 rakes (1.05 mn t) for the month against 281 (1.08 mn t) rakes in June’20.
