Japanese billet exports up 70% in H1 CY’20

Japanese billet exports were recorded at 2.32 mn t in H1 CY’20 registering a y-o-y increase of 70%. Semi-finished steel exports to China, Taiwan & South Korea increased sharply in H1. During Jun’20, it stood at 308,453 t to register an m-o-m decline of 43%.
