After last week’s correction in price of Steel Grade Pig Iron, market had improved by INR 200-1,000/MT at few major markets.

Steel grade Pig iron market in Chennai improved by INR 1,000/MT to INR 26,500/MT (basic).

Manufacturers of Raipur also improved steel grade prices by INR 200/MT to INR 25,700/MT (basic). Similarly with Raigarh based plants, revised Pig iron prices by INR 400/MT, by current offering at INR 25,400/MT (basic).

Manufacturers at Giridih had kept their offers unchanged at INR 24,200/MT (basic), anticipating the market to be stable in Eastern region.

Plants at Rourkela has also revised their offers to INR 24,000/MT (basic) which rose by INR 200/MT. Whereas, manufacturer at Bokaro corrected its offer by INR 500/MT to about INR 23,500/MT. The  prices improved steadily last week from INR 23,500/MT to INR 24,000/MT.

Current Steel Grade Pig Iron Prices across Indian Market
