NMDC in its Karnataka e-auction conducted on 22nd July fetched bids for 84% of material (108,000 t) out of the total 128,000 t put under hammer. JSW Steel Ltd stood the largest bidder at 72,000 t. The fines put up for auction were of Fe 59.64% & 61.58% grade while lumps put to auction were of Fe 64.11% & 64.87%. The auction fetched flat bids. Bids for fines (Fe 59.6%) stood at INR 1,456/t and for lumps (64.8%) at INR 2,765-2,775/t.
