Sponge iron prices in Raipur moved up with rising billet prices & shortage of raw material amid surge in price range. About 4,000-5,000 t sponge P-DRI deals were reported today by a couple of major manufacturers at around INR 16,800-16,900/t ex-plant. Offers by mid-sized plants were learned at INR 17,000/t while bids were reported at INR 16,800/t ex-plant.
