Steel Authority of India has developed new SS 32205 grade “Super Duplex Stainless Steel” at its Salem Steel Plant with superior qualities of corrosion resistance, strength and formability. Made with a composition of chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen, this product is good for use in various corrosion prone areas including pulp & paper industries, chemical & food processing equipment and biofuel plants.
