Domestic melting scrap prices in western India (Jalna) observed a marginal hike of INR 100/t on d-o-d basis and a hike of INR 400-500/t was seen in sponge iron prices on w-o-w basis from Bellary & Raipur. Current trade reference price of HMS (80:20) scrap is reported to be at INR 20,800/t FoR.
