Indian Manganese ore imports up by 18% in H1 CY20 CPLY. Imports were higher mainly on elevated buying interest at low seaborne prices and low production by MOIL, forcing alloy producers to import more. However, in Jun’20, imports fell by 46% m-o-m, as producers have sufficient inventory, with reduced production of manganese alloys after the outbreak of the pandemic.
