Russian steelmaker Severstal’s crude steel output in Q2 (Apr-Jun’20) CY’20 totalled 2.81 mn t, a decrease of 2% on q-o-q basis, compared to 2.85 mn t in Q1 CY’20. Low output was the result of the decline in hot metal output due to maintenance works at BF#1, #4 and #5. Total crude steel output during H1 CY’20 (Jan-Jun’20) recorded to be at 5.66 mn t.
