China steel imports witness 26% y-o-y growth in H1 CY20

During H1 CY20, the steel imports in China stood at 7.34 mn t, registering a y-o-y growth of 26%. And in Jun’20, the imports were recorded at 1.8 mn t. High domestic prices due to fall in inventories after COVID recovery, resulted in a sharp increase in Chinese steel imports.
