The second largest DRI producer in the world after India, Iran produced 11.24 mn t of pellets in Q1 FY21. Golgohar Mining & Industrial Company leads the pack with 3.09 mn t followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company with 1.92 mn t, MIDHCO with 1.7 mn t and Khouzestan Steel Company with 1.43 mn t.
