Australia: Port Hedland iron ore exports up 5% in FY20

The total annual throughput of Pilbara Ports Authority (PPA) has hit a record high of 717.2 mn t in FY20, up 3% y-o-y. Annual iron ore exports through port Hedland totalled 531.5 mn t, up by 5% y-o-y. Total annual throughput across PPA’s three ports (Hedland, Dampier & Ashburton) hit record high despite the challenges of global pandemic.
