Domestic melting scrap prices in western India (Jalna) continued to maintain uptrend and it increased by INR 100/t on d-o-d basis owing to tight availability of material. Current trade reference price of HMS (80:20) stands at INR 20,200/t FoR. Prices are expected to remain supportive in the near term.
