A couple of major sponge iron producers based in Raipur (central India) have reported active demand for pellet sponge (P-DRI) today as some more bookings were reported despite price hike of INR 200/t d-o-d and INR 500-600/t since the start of the week. About 5,000 t P-DRI deals have been reported today at INR 16,200-300/t EXW Raipur.
