NMDC conducted iron ore e-auction for 152,000t from its Karnataka mines on 8th Jul’20, in which about 89% got booked. Majority of the material was booked at base price and only few lots receiving bids up by INR 10/t. JSW Steel remained the largest buyer. The base price for fines (Fe 60.6-62.1) was at INR 1,544-1,693/t and for lump (Fe 64.67-65.7) at INR 2,742-2,864/t (basic).
