Tangshan Port cargo handling capacity touches 657 mn t in CY19; 3rd highest in world

In CY19, total cargo handled at Tangshan port reached 657 mn t and containers handled were 2.94 mn TEU – 2.67 times and 10.64 times higher respectively than CY10. In terms of handling capacity, the port is now ranked third in the world. It is the largest discharging port for imported iron ore and the largest loading port for exported steel.
