Today, billet prices in the Tangshan market, northeast China, rose by RMB 40. Prices of commonly traded Q235 billet 150mm diameter were reported at RMB 3,390/t ($485/t) in Tangshan, inclusive of 13 % VAT. Iron & steel futures reported a sharp increase yesterday, lifting domestic prices.
