The European benchmark ferro chrome price for Q3 has been settled at 114 cents/lb, unchanged q-o-q, Merafe resources announced. The price is understood to be rolled over as supply tightness persists in the largest chrome producer of the world – South Africa. The benchmark price is used for long term ferro chrome contracts in Europe, U.S and Asia.
