CIL’s daily production plummets 56% during strike

Coal India Limited’s (CIL) average daily production was affected to the tune of 56% during the three-day strike against the government’s move to allow private companies in coal mining. The world’s leading coal miner’s average daily production during the strike was 5,73,000 t – just 44% of last 10 days’ average production of 12,96,900 t.
