The ongoing 3-day strike at Coal India Limited (CIL) is set to impact 4 mn t of production, with revenue loss to state governments from CIL being pegged at INR 319 cr. About 2 mn t of production was affected on July 2. The strike has majorly affected operations and despatches at CIL subsidiaries SECL, BCCL, WCL and CCL.
