Odisha’s iron ore production in May’20 registered an m-o-m rise of 15% in May’20 to reach 6.18 mn t. Tata Steel, Sarda Mines, OMC, SAIL, and Rungta were noted as the major miners during May’20. Odisha is the largest producing state in the country which contributes 50% of total India’s production.
