SAIL conducted auction for 4,000 t steel grade pig iron today from its Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP). Entire quantity offered got booked. Majority of lots fetched bids at INR 22,700-22,900/t against the last auction on 20 Jun’20 conducted for 4,000t which was settled at INR 22,500-700/t EXW. Sources believe the response was good today due to competitive prices.
