China billet imports climb 76% in May over April

China’s billet imports recorded a sharp surge in May’20 as against April from 436,464 t to 768,810 t, according to recent data released by Chinese customs. India’s billet exports to China in May’20 stood at 106,390 t, with Russia shipping out 255,732 t in May’20.
