India: MMTC invites Tender for Export of Chrome Concentrate

Metal & Mineral Trading Corporation (MMTC), a state owned agency, invites e-tender for export of Chrome Concentrate of Indian origin from interested overseas buyers on CQD (Customary Quick Despatch) basis. The tender has been floated on behalf of Tata Steel.

Bidders Criteria:

• Turnover: Minimum annual turnover of USD 50 million during last financial year.
• Past experience: Minimum experience of one year in minerals business.

Specification:

• Chrome Concentrate: 20,000 MT, Cr₂O₃: 50% Basis 48% Min
• Low silica Chrome Concentrate: 6,500 MT, Cr₂O₃: 56% Basis 54% Min

 Total Quantity: 26,500 MT

Loading Port: Paradip/Vizag port, India

Origin: Tata Steel, Indian origin

Shipment Period: 15 Jan to 31 Jan, 2014
