Eastern India based exporters have concluded around 5,000t sponge iron (80 FeM, 100% lumps) deals to Bangladesh this week at an average price of $235/t CPT Benapole (equivalent to $255-260/t CFR Chittagong). Prices remained firm against closing of last week. However, in last one month prices have come down by $10-15 due to decline in domestic offers.
