Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) today conducted an auction for 4,000t steel grade pig iron from its Rourkela steel plant, Odisha. The auction received a decent response as entire quantity was booked at INR 22,500-700/t EXW. Prices have come down by around INR 1,000/t against last auction conducted on 13 Jun’20 due to steep fall in billet prices.
