Indian sponge iron export offers have come down by $10-15/t w-o-w. A Kolkata (eastern India) based source reported a deal for about 2,000t sponge iron (80 FeM, 100% lumps) at an average price of $240/t CPT Benapole (equivalent to $260/t CFR Chittagong, Bangladesh). The export prices fell significantly due to plunge in domestic prices by INR 1,000/t ($13) w-o-w.
