China crude steel output increases by 9% in May’20

On the back of improved demand and ramp-up of output at mills, the nation’s crude steel output grew by 9% to 92.27 mn t in May’20, as against 85.03 mn t in Apr’20. In similar lines, the output rose moderately by 4% on the year as against 89.09 mn t in May’19.
