SAIL conducted auction for 7,600t basic grade pig iron from IISCO Steel Plant, West Bengal, eastern India on 12 Jun’20. The auction received poor response as the entire quantity of 7,600t was unsold due to non-participation. Prior to this, the last auction for 4,600t pig iron held on 9 Jun’20, was concluded at INR 24,000-24050/t EXW.
