Domestic melting scrap prices in southern India (Chennai) observed marginal fall due to limited trade volumes in semi finish (billet) and in order to maintain the conversion spread from scrap to billet. Current trade reference price of HMS (80-20) registered at INR 20,900-21,200/MT FoR.
